Victoria Baeza Garcia is a Journalism and Creative Computing double major at SMU, originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. After starting her studies at Tarrant County College, she transferred to SMU as a North Texas Community College Scholar. With a focus on Business Journalism and a minor in Computer Science, Victoria brings a tech-savvy edge to storytelling. She has worked as a reporter and photographer for The Daily Campus and is passionate about using technology to innovate journalism. Outside the newsroom, she’s active in volunteer work and community engagement.
